Soft X-ray Spectroscopy Collection and Analysis Workshop
Workshop description
The collection and analysis of soft x-rays is of critical importance to a wide range of research areas and impacts battery development, aircraft alloys research and others. This workshop will focus on the latest detector developments including Silicon Drift Detector (SDD) improvements, new gratings for Soft X-ray Emission Spectrometry (SXES), and the use of zone plate style spectrometers implemented in the wavelength-dispersive parallel low-energy X-ray spectrometer (WDSX).
